As 2017 clicked over I heard the words "No Turning Back" singing upon my heart. It came with great delight and relief as I farewelled a year that felt more like a yo-yo. I experienced incredible highs of Gods favour and blessings, but also faced some of the lowest of lows, challenging me mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
But as these words starting singing from my heart "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, NO TURNING BACK!!! I knew that God was declaring 2017 to be a year that we are NOT TO LOOK BACK! God has been preparing His children and the challenges of the past have been a shaping of the future. He is going to take every obstacle, every challenge, every pain you have endured and overcome and turn it around for His glory!
"And we know that in all things God works for the GOOD of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 NIV
CARRIED THROUGH THE DOOR The Lord showed me an open vision of a radiant Bride standing at a door and the Groom (Jesus) walked up to her, sweeping her off her feet into His arms and carrying her across the threshold, through the open door. He was whispering the words "No turning back, no turning back".
Then the Lord said " My radiant Bride, pure and lovely. The unexpected difficulties of your past have shaped you, prepared you and made you stronger than you have ever been. You have felt alone, you have felt weak, you have felt unworthy but you are not! The lies of the enemy have caused you at times to doubt yourself, to doubt Me. But I say to you today NO TURNING BACK! You have OVERCOME! Do not look back to the things of the past, but know that today you stand stronger. Keep your eyes on Me, keep looking forward, for there is SO MUCH to look forward to!!! Today I carry you into NEW BEGINNINGS! Into a NEW SEASON of LIVING IN MY GLORY where I will make known My presence and you will not feel alone. You will experience and see first hand a whole new realm of My power and My love upon your life.
