Over the last few months of 2022 and in the lead up to our Australian Prophetic Summit, I kept hearing the words “MUSTER SEASON, it’s time to muster the herd, to gather the flock. Australia, it’s mustering season.” It’s a word I can’t shake, and I believe this is a word for Australia as we head into 2023.
“Mustering” means: to gather the livestock and get them together ready to move them to the next place. Mustering season in Australia often happens in Autumn March – May and again in Spring September- November.
To “muster” means: to gather together as a group or force, assemble, come together. Call together, mobilize, assemble (troops), especially for inspection or in preparation for battle
GATHER TOGETHER SO WE CAN MOVE TOGETHER
I felt the Lord say “it’s time to GATHER the herd, gather My flock, they have been isolated for too long. It’s time to get ready to move into the next place I am taking you.”
I saw this will start with the Lord bringing people TOGETHER for KINGDOM PURPOSE. People who have felt alone for so long, suddenly connecting and joining together with people who have the same heart and passions, with similar gifts and Kingdom desires.
This required people to MAKE TIME! To lay down excuses, busyness, laziness, insecurities, pride and fears.
This required people to step out IN FAITH and into the places He is calling and inviting them.
As people made time for Him, to come together, to connect, to meet, to pray, to worship, hearts stirred for MORE of HIM, HUNGER GREW, and His Spirit started to move with INCREASE. As they gathered their eyes were FIXED ON HIM, and they started MOVING in the SAME DIRECTION in UNITY, with KINGDOM PURPOSE spurring each other on, as the SPIRIT LED THEM.
Then I saw the second stage of this Muster Season, where groups and connections increased and started MERGING TOGETHER. I saw DIVINE ALIGNMENTS, ASSIGNMENTS, CONNECTIONS OF LIKEMINDED PEOPLE AND UNEXPECTED CONNECTIONS SUDDENLY COMING TOGETHER. I saw incredible ENCOURAGEMENT to the Body of Christ and RESTORATION as people connected, stood together, did BUSINESS together, WORSHIPPED together, PRAYED together, in UNITY. As they were LED BY THE SPIRIT, FAITH INCREASED. The Spirit moved with GREATER INCREASE and THE BODY STARTED TO FUNCTION as the body should… TOGETHER AS ONE.
CHURCH LEADERS – GET BEHIND MY PEOPLE When mustering, a drover or shepherd leads from behind. This image of a shepherd leading from behind, is something that I have been seeing for a long time. As I brought this to The Lord, I heard Him saying to leaders, “it’s time to GET BEHIND MY PEOPLE AND LEAD FROM BEHIND! I am The Good Shepherd, and a good shepherd leads from behind, so lead as I lead. Get behind My people, get out of the way and stand with them, move with them. Gather them together, to move into the place I am leading you.”
LET MY SPIRIT LEAD When sheep or cattle are herded often as soon as one runs the others follow. I heard the Lord say “It’s time to OPEN THE GATE and PREPARE THE WAY for My people to move into the next place I am taking them. As I AWAKEN them, they will COME ALIVE, they will catch the wind of My Spirit! They will RUN with Me and as they do, MORE will AWAKEN, MORE will COME, MORE will FOLLOW! (REVIVAL) My Spirit will go before you, and I WILL TAKE THE LEAD. NOT BY MIGHT NOT BY POWER BUT BY MY SPIRIT. I am Mustering My people. I will SEARCH them and PURIFY them, I will REVIVE them, AWAKEN them to the TRUTH of who they are! I will clothe them in Heavenly armour, they will rise, and they will stand IN Me, WITH Me and FOR Me. They will move with Me, into the VICTORY. (Eph 6:11-16, John 14:26, John 16:13-15)
POSTURE - ALIGNING THE BODY BACK INTO POSITION “Posture yourself, for I am preparing you for what is ahead! We will MOVE TOGETHER. I AM the HEAD! You are THE BODY, and I am ALIGNING THE BODY BACK INTO POSITION, for you have been DISLOCATED for too long.”
As many know dislocation is painful and sometimes to realign it back into place requires firm pressure and force. It then needs TIME TO HEAL. I felt the Lord showing me as the body is put back into alignment, it will require a LOVING BUT FIRM HAND, and a time of sitting at His feet, before His Throne, WORSHIPPING TOGETHER, PRAYING TOGETHER, allowing Him to HEAL, RESTORE, RENEW, REVIVE, REFINE, STRENGTHEN and PREPARE the BODY, to stand and be WHO HE CREATED US TO BE, CHILDREN OF THE KING. To function as the body should function as ONE TOGETHER, each playing our part with the unique gifts He has given us. (Romans 12:1-2)
PURGING and UPROOTING “I am UPROOTING the weeds that have come to strangle My people and keep them bound. I am removing the foxes that have come to spoil the vine!” I felt the Lord is going DEEPER into hearts, lives, ministries and churches than ever before, to uproot the access points, strongholds, footholds, and plans of the enemy. He is going BACK TO THE FOUNDATIONS, of generations, of families, in blood lines, in churches, to UPROOT AND REMOVE! It’s not breakthrough like many have cried out for, it’s FULL FREEDOM!
REPENTANCE IS KEY History will reveal things and bring freedom and understanding. REPENTANCE is key to bringing FREEDOM! Let Him GO DEEP! LET HIM IN! I see families, people, churches and leaders falling to their knees in REPENTANCE! The pain and anguish that has tormented and shackled so many people, families, generations, churches, suddenly uprooted, severed and gone, with SUDDEN FREEDOM!
GO BACK TO HIS WORD! Read His word, declare His word, stand on His word, His promises! He is your firm foundation; He is the rock on which you stand.
I saw a SHAKING AND PURGING coming upon the church. PURGING TO PURIFY, PURGING TO UNIFY, PURGING TO GLORIFY. He is looking for our POSTURE - NOT OUR POSITION. Many of us have been looking for how we fit in, a job title, a role, but He is looking for HEART POSTURE. “I AM COMING AFTER YOUR HEART.” Those, who posture themselves LOW, who HUMBLE and SURRENDER, will be positioned, will be promoted, will go HIGH with Him! (Ezekiel 36:25-28.)
RESTORING WORSHIP – PRAYER AND WORSHIP ARE KEY I heard the words “I WILL CRACK THE WHIP and I will RESTORE THE PLACE OF PRAYER and WORSHIP.” To “crack the whip” means to move them along. I was reminded of when Jesus wove a whip to move people and sheep out of the temple where they were trading (John 2:15-17). I suddenly felt grief in my heart and the need to cry out and REPENT. We have transformed what should be a worshipful place of prayer into a noisy marketplace and we have been stuck and bound in this place for too long! As I cried out in repentance, I could hear the Lord roaring “I WILL CLEANSE and RESTORE THE TEMPLE. I am bringing you back to a Heart of WORSHIP. You will worship Me in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24) and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32)
As He said these words, I knew He was referring to our PERSONAL TEMPLE and HEART (1 Cor 3:16) and also PLACES OF WORSHIP as in CHURCHES. I saw as He RESTORED the temple, PRAYER AND WORSHIP suddenly unlocked the door to THE THRONE ROOM and people started to FILL the TEMPLE of THE LORD, bowing down and crying out IN AWE AND WONDER AND HOLY FEAR before His Throne, “HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY”. AWE and WONDER and HOLY FEAR was RESTORED.
Then I heard the words, “I WILL PURIFY, I WILL UNIFY, I WILL RECTIFY, I WILL JUSTIFY, YOU WILL COME ALIVE, I WILL BE GLORIFIED”
There is a GREAT SHIFT taking place! He is on the move, and He is INVITING US to COME WITH HIM. He is GATHERING HIS PEOPLE. He is REVIVING THE BODY, He is ALIGNING THE BODY INTO POSITION. He is HEALING and STRENGTHENING THE BODY to MOVE US TOGETHER as ONE, WITH HIM, into this NEW PLACE and HIS SPIRIT WILL LEAD THE WAY.
