WARNING FOR LEADERS…MEET ME AT THE MOUNTAIN TOP AND I WILL GIVE YOU ALL YOU NEED

This morning in prayer I felt an urgency in my spirit. I pressed into God and I heard Him calling His leaders to the mountain top. He showed me Matt 17:1-7 and highlighted Vs 5 “While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. LISTEN TO HIM!”

“I am calling out to My Leaders of Ministries to meet with Me. But some DO NOT hear Me. I call ‘Hello… Come to the mountain top, I long to meet with you and fill you’, but some are so busy trying to “DO” My work that they are not hearing My voice clearly.”

THE MOUNTAIN TOP I saw a vision of a glorious mountain top and Jesus was sitting waiting and calling His Leaders to come and commune with Him. Some leaders instantly paused and leapt up the mountain with great ease, filled with an uncontainable joy that they were going to sit and commune with Jesus. They were filled, instructed and refreshed with abundant favor and blessings as they returned to His ministries. Some leaders found the climb a little more challenging; they had not climbed to the mountain top as often as they should to meet with Jesus. When they did reach the top Jesus smiled and said “The climb gets easier the more you do it” and He filled them with all they needed and told them they should come sit more often.

Then I saw some leaders stop half way up this glorious mountain top. They didn’t want to go all the way up because they were busy “doing” and could only spare a moment. They lifted their ear to try and hear what Jesus was saying from the mountain top. They could only hear some of what He said but felt it was enough to get a general idea and work out the rest for themselves. They not only missed out on being filled, blessed and refreshed at the top with Jesus, they missed vital instructions to help them in their ministry. Then I saw other leaders at the bottom of the mountain. Some walked outside and paused for a brief moment when they thought they heard the Lord calling them to come. But went back to “doing” their ministry. Others missed the call altogether and continued in the busyness of “their” ministry.

THE WARNING I could see Jesus looking down at these ones who didn’t come to the top to sit with Him and I could sense He was very concerned. As I stood with Him I looked down to see what was concerning Him. I instantly saw I the enemy prowling around these Leaders “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 NIV. These leaders who were spending more time “doing” their ministry were spending less and less time on the mountain top communing with Jesus, being filled, being refreshed, being instructed… and the enemy was having a feast on them! and they didn’t even realise it!

“But seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” Matt 6:33 NIV.

Jesus cried out “STOP! Come to Me, Come to Me! If only you could see the importance of pausing to climb up to my glorious mountain top and meet with Me. Give me your time and I will give you all you need and so much more. I will protect you, go before you and fill you to overflowing. Then He cried out longingly again “Come to me, come to me’! Please pray for our leaders! The enemy is targeting them and looking for any foothold into their lives and ministries. The enemy is wearing them out and drawing them away from valuable and highly important time with God. God is moving with great increase and I keep hearing the words “swing wide the Heavenly Gates. Prepare the way for the Risen Lord!”. 5/8/16
