Many have felt like they have been sitting in a HOLDING PATTERN, just circling, WAITING for a long time to land where God wants them. The wait has been frustrating and confusing for many.
But I heard the Lord say "fasten your seat belt and PREPARE TO LAND! THE WAIT IS OVER! I have seen your frustrations of feeling stuck and your desire for breakthrough. I have heard your cries and the longing in your hearts for more. I am bringing you in to land, and as I do, I need you to GET READY and PREPARE to hit the ground running and go where I lead you!”
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” Is 40:31 NKJV
As He was speaking this to me, I saw a vision of people on a plane. The seatbelt light came on as they were preparing to land. Many were EXPECTANT, EXCITED and READY. But some people still had rubbish and clutter around them that they hadn't cleaned up. Some still had headphones on and were DISTRACTED by the screens in front of them, not listening to the call to prepare, and some had earplugs in and were still ASLEEP! I could see the flight attendants moving quickly trying to wake up the sleepers, and help clean up to make sure everyone was prepared. There was an urgency in their attempts to get the attention of the people to make sure they were getting ready to land.
Then The Lord said to me “for some, they have prepared well in the waiting, and have not lost hope but they listened to My instructions, My directions. These people are ready to land and the DOORS WILL OPEN for them, and whatever door I open no man can shut!”
But then He shared with me about the others who had become weary, discouraged and distracted while circling for a long time; some had lost hope and had even given up. These people were not ready. He showed me that before they can land and before He can swing wide the door for them and send them out, they still need to listen to instructions, remove the distractions, prepare to clean up and wake up! I heard the Lord saying to these people “DON’T GIVE UP! DON’T LOSE HOPE! GET READY! WAKE UP! I have doors and invitations waiting for your response!”
The Lord is moving quickly to get the attention of His people, to awaken them and ready them. ARE YOU READY?
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Eph 6:13-17 NIV
