SPECIAL GIFTS ESPECIALLY FOR YOU

Today the Lord was showing me how much He loves us - His children. He kept saying "I LOVE YOU and I NEED YOU" I could instantly sense the Lord showing us just how much He loves us by giving gifts to His children.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. James‬ ‭1:17-18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

GIFTS ESPECIALLY FOR YOU The Lord then showed me a long row of beautifully wrapped gift boxes that started from the tiniest and increased in size getting bigger and bigger. They all had a gift tag that said "ESPECIALLY FOR YOU". The Lord said "These gifts are especially for you, because I LOVE YOU and I also NEED YOU! These gifts are filled to overflowing with all that you need to become the very best (first fruits) that I created you to be! I asked the Lord "which one do I open first" ? and He said "I want you to start with the smallest first and make your way through the row of gifts as they increase in size. BE SURE NOT TO SKIP ONE as they each hold something very special for you".

I opened the tiny little gift first and then the next and the next. With each gift I opened, I became UNDONE by the goodness of God, His generosity and Love for me. The gifts represented opportunities, divine appointments, ministries, blessing and more. With each gift I unwrapped, I became richer in understanding who I was and what God has planned for my life. Some gifts were challenging to accept and unwrap, but The Lord stayed with me and helped me and talked me through each one till it revealed the fullness of what was inside. As I opened each one, not only were they increasing in size, but the speed at which I was able to open them was increasing too.

THE BIG ONE Then I noticed a big plain gift box sitting in the distance on its own and I asked God what that big one was? He said "That is Man's idea of what My gift should look for them. Some people only want THE BIG ONE. They only want the big blessings, big opportunities, the big ministries. My Children will often walk past or even reject the small gifts I offer them along the way. I need them to understand and learn to accept the small gifts before the My big gifts can be theirs! These small gifts are key to preparing them for the fullness of the bigger ones I have ahead!

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much" Luke‬ ‭16:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Then I saw a person run up to this one big gift on its own and excitedly ripped it open. Very quickly their look of excitement turned to shock and disappointment as this big box was clearly not filled with what they had expected... In fact, it was pretty much empty. This person reached into this big box and pulled out a tiny little beautifully wrapped gift with a tag on in that said "Especially for You".

As they held this gift I could sense that this person felt confused, upset and disappointed.. They felt like giving up. They felt like God had nothing special for them. Then a man walked up to them. It was Jesus. I could see Him talking to this person, He wrapped His arms around them as they wept and then He lifted their head and invited them to open the tiny gift in their hands. It was so small and this person didn't think that such a small gift could have anything special in it. But as this person did, their face lit up and beamed with absolute delight at all that was inside. Then Jesus lifted their head again and revealed the row of special gifts from small to large with the tags "Especially for You" on them, that this person had not even seen while trying to get to this one big one. Jesus stood with them and poured out His love upon them as they looked forward and open the increasing gifts together.

"I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into His abundance so that I may reach the destiny which Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. ¹³ I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. ¹⁴ I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. ¹⁵ So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. ¹⁶ And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion. Philippians 3:12-16 TPT
