I recently returned from a family holiday in Vanuatu where we celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday. It was his wish to go offshore fishing and target some of the BIG fish in these beautiful waters. And a BIG fish he caught!! A RECORD BREAKING Yellowfin Tuna that was the biggest one caught off Vanuatu on record! It was truly an incredible gift!
Since that day the words RECORD BREAKING have been ringing in my ears and God whispered into my spirit. “Helen, this is going to be a RECORD BREAKING year. You are going to hear these words and see MANY more RECORDS being BROKEN over your circumstances, through your prayers, your worship, your praise as I am preparing the way.”
A KEY These words pressed so powerfully upon my heart and the Lord said “THESE WORDS ARE A KEY for My people! Now is the time to UNLOCK the NEW LAND, NEW TERRITORY and NEW SEASON that is upon you. My SPIRIT of BREAKTHROUGH is about to SURGE across this land that will move in RECORD BREAKING POWER, AUTHORITY and ABUDANCE. You will see Me move exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever ask or imagine!
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according the power that works in us.” Eph 3:20 NKJV
DECLARE IT As I was praying about some exciting, big changes that are happening for us right now as a family, the Lord added the WORDS “RECORD BREAKING” into my prayer “RECORD BREAKING Helen, ask for a RECORD BREAKING outcome, a RECORD BREAKING miracle."
In that moment He reminded me about the power of these words and the promises He said to me about this RECORD BREAKING year ahead. However I felt that maybe if I prayed this, my prayers would sound greedy or selfish. So I asked Him “Lord can I really pray like that? These words are very BIG, BOLD and COURAGEOUS words!” Then He said “Helen, I have GIVEN YOU AUTHORITY to DECLARE IT in JESUS NAME”!
As soon as He said this, I knew I had to grab hold of these words “RECORD BREAKING and start confessing them and declaring them upon my lips. As I did this, I felt an UNLOCKING take place, as my heart, my mind and my words were coming into agreement with MY God and ALL He has planned for us ahead.
“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours”. Isaiah 61:7 NIV
I encourage you to grab hold of these words. Start declaring them and praying them over your life and over your circumstances today and watch God move in great power, authority and abundance as you come into agreement with all He has ahead for you.
